No Big Suprise: Rams in Disarray

Just a few Friday notes from the Web and elsewhere:

*Steven Jackson ripped Bulger’s benching on the radio last night and suggested that Marc Bulger would not play for Linehan again.  Also, he implied that he wasn’t the only one in the locker room that felt the way he did about Bulger and Linehan.  But then Jackson didn’t talk to reporters on Friday saying, “You’ve done enough.”.  This is curious, considering Jackson was the one who said it on the radio that anyone could hear.  But, maybe he was thinking of some other incident.

*Bulger hasn’t spoken to reporters since he was benched by Scott Linehan.  Bulger usually has his quotes front and center and the fact that he is not talking at all is strange for him.  He is obviously very disgusted with the benching and does not want to rip the team and coach in the press and then in get in trouble over it. (ala Steven Jackson)

*Linehan did not talk to the press after practice (the poor press!  no one will talk to them!) and instead went right into a meeting with GM Jay Zygmunt. (who we covered earlier today)  Is Linehan getting an ultimatium sent down from the ownership?  Or is he getting the dreaded vote of confidence?  What would be so urgent that it could not wait until after he spoke with the press?  So many more questions, so few answers.

Bill Coats at Around the Horns is doing an incredible job as usual picking up these reports.
