In an effort to revive a once powerful offense St. Louis Rams Head Coach Scott Linehan has benched Marc Bulger.
The Rams who have the leagues 31st ranked offense will go with a familiar face in Trent Green. Linehan made the announcement with a one-sentence statement Tuesday. He won’t comment until his normal press conference Tuesday afternoon.
Bulger is barely into his second year of a 6-year $65 million dollar contract. He has been sacked 11 times this year while completing 52 of 89 passes.
Green is on his second tour of duty with the Rams, he played there in 1999 and 2000.

It’s all about the Offensive Line, period!
A QB who has time will find the receivers.
A running back who is getting the holes, will gain the rushing yards.
Fire the coach …. keep Bulger in …. and focus on an awesome O line. Do your research. All the Super Bowl winners have had awesome O lines. It’s not rocket science.
I’ll go one further Eric – the game of football is won on the line of scrimmage. A good O-line and D-line can go a long way.
The QB gets way to much credit when things go good and way to much blame when things go bad.
