Macklin was torched last year and didn't appear to have improved Caldwell, despite the big eyes, is a horrid receiver. The rest are yawns. If Long and Carricker can't play respectably for this defense, our legacy will be that we could've had Patrick Willis (drafted one spot ahead of us at #12 last year) and Glen Dorsey (this year). Don't know about you, but Willis/Dorsey sounds like more of an anchor than Carricker/Long. Here's hoping our offense improves. Lance Ball is the only one of those I’d have kept around.
