Rams Make Roster Moves to Reach the 75-Man Limit

The St.Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting today the Rams roster moves to get down to the league-mandated 75-man roster limit.  They released running back Lavarus Giles, kicker Justin Medlock and wide receiver Shaine Smith, and put rookie cornerback Justin King on IR. King, a fourth-round draft pick, suffered a season-ending toe injury in the team’s first preseason game. NFL rosters must be trimmed to 53 by Saturday afternoon.
