Rams Get Former Bucs QB Gradkowski Off Waivers

The Rams have themselves a new QB, as today the team picked up former Bucs QB Bruce Gradkowski. The former starter in Tampa Bay was picked up off waivers, and the Rams get him instead of the Bears and Raiders, who both also put in bids for the QB. He started 11 games as a rookie for the Bucs when they were hit hard by injuries at the QB position. He didn’t play at all last season, as the team used veteran Jeff Garcia, and won the NFC South. Gradkowski will be the 3rd string QB behind starter Marc Bulger and Trent Green, but is a quality backup to have in case of an emergency.
