QB Green Visiting Rams Today

Free agent quarterback and former Vianney High School standout Trent Green is expected to visit Rams Park today.  According to the “St. Louis Post-Dispatch,” Green met with the New Orleans Saints on Monday.  The veteran signal-caller was with the Rams in 1999 and 2000.

O-Line Gets a Boost as Rams Sign Bell

The Rams signed free agent offensive guard Jacob Bell to a six-year deal yesterday.  Bell spent the last four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, who selected him in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft.  He played in 55 games for Tennessee with 46 starts.  The 6-foot-4-inch, 295-pounder will play alongside All-Pro tackle Orlando [...]

Report: Bell Drawing Interest

The Rams are reportedly courting free-agent offensive guard Jacob Bell.  According to the “St. Louis Post-Dispatch,” Bell will meet with team officials at Rams Park sometime today.  The veteran lineman has been a starter with Tennessee three of the past four seasons.

Rams Introduce New Kicker Brown

The Rams introduced their new kicker over the weekend.  The team signed free agent Josh Brown to a five-year contract on Friday.  The move came on the heels of kicker Jeff Wilkins’ retirement.  Brown has made 116 field goals out of 145 attempts in his first five seasons in the NFL, all spent in Seattle.  [...]

Rams to Bring former QB Trent Green in for a Visit

The St.Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that former Rams quarterback Trent Green might come back to the team to be Marc Bulger’s backup. Green may be an option after the team cut Gus Frerotte, and then lost out when the Skins re-signed Todd Collins on Friday on the first day of free agency. [...]
