The St. Louis Rams took a step to ensure they will have a kicker in camp in the event incumbent Jeff Wilkins decides to retire; the team announced on Monday that they signed free-agent kicker Justin Medlock, a former 5th-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs last year. Medlock played in one game for the Chiefs, making 1 of 2 field goal attempts. Wilkins has intimated that he may retire due to some “health issues”.
