The career of former Rams guard Adam Timmerman has come to an end.  The St.Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that Timmerman is going to give his official notice to the league that he is not going to play anymore.  He was a free agent last season, visited a few teams, but ended up simply staying at home with his wife and three children.  “No more thought of playing,” he said in the paper.  Timmerman had a very successful NFL career, playing 12 seasons, four Super Bowls, and two Pro Bowls.  He played on the Rams Super Bowl team that was known as “The Greatest Show on Turf.”
