Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken ZampeseThe St. Louis Rams, who are in search of an offensive coordinator, managed to get some face time in with current Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese.  specifically, Rams head coach Scot Linehan – before he left for the Rams annual summit in Los Angeles – met with Zampese about the team’s vacant offensive coordinator position.

According to league sources, Linehan was supposed to have met with Chan Gailey, but Gailey cancelled; because of the cancellation, it is not clear whether Gailey is in the running at this point.  Zampese has been the Bengals’ quarterbacks coach the past 5 seasons, where the Bengals have developed into one of the league’s better passing teams.  Prior to that (2000-2002), Zampese was an assistant coach with the Rams, serving as offensive assistant, wide receivers coach and passing game coach.
