Gus’ Big Day Leads Rams to 28-16 Win over Falcons

Gus Frerotte threw for 311 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions as the Rams beat the Falcons 28-16 at the Edward Jones Dome.  Steven Jackson rushed for 96 yards and a score, and added 71 yards receiving as St. Louis won at home for the first time this season.  Torry Holt had six catches for 135 yards and a TD for the Rams, who moved to 3-and-9.  Chris Redman replaced Joey Harrington in the fourth quarter and threw for 172 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.  Roddy White had 10 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown for Atlanta, which fell to 3-and-9 with its third consecutive lost.
