CB Hill Out Indefinitely With Back Injury
Posted by Matt Loede on September 14th, 2007 filed in NewsRams left corner Tye Hill is out indefinitely after he hurt his back in practice on
Thursday. The second-year corner may have broken a few small bones in his lower back after he collided with a teammate. Head coach Scott Linehan stated on Thursday that Hill was injured, and that he would be re-evaluated next week. Hill and safety Oshimogho Atogwe collided, which caused the injury. “I couldn’t breathe at first,” Hill said. For now, it looks as if journeyman corner Lenny Walls will play the left side in Hill’s place. The sixth-year vet was signed this past offseason. The team is now awfully thin at the spot, with just three healthy corners ready to suit up on Sunday vs the 49′ers at home.
