Rams Camp Opens

The Rams take the field at 9:20 this morning for the first workout of training camp.  Head coach Scott Linehan will put his team through the paces until 11:35.  This is the first of 17 practices at Rams Park open to the fans.  The team will have a closed practice this evening.  Player reported to camp yesterday with quarterback Marc Bulger and defensive lineman Adam Carriker [[Kar-ih-ker]] absent.  Agents for both players have been negotiating with the club.  Bulger is seeking a contract extension and Linehan said he hoped a deal would get done so that the veteran quarterback would be on the field today.
 
In addition to camp, single game tickets go on sale at 10:00 this morning.  Fans can purchase tickets on the team’s website, stlouisrams.com or at any Ticketmaster outlet.  The Rams kick off the preseason on August 10th in Minnesota.  The regular season opener is Sunday, September 9th against the Carolina Panthers at the Edward Jones Dome.
