Bruce “On the Downswing” States KFFL.com

KFFL.com has released a list of “Players on the Downswing” and Rams WR Issac Bruce has made the list.  Below are the comments on Bruce from the site:

Isaac Bruce, St. Louis Rams - For a former speedster such as Bruce to still be productive after 14 years is a testament both to his natural ability and his experience. After catching only 36 passes in 2005, Bruce bounced back with 74 receptions for 1,098 yards and three touchdowns in ‘06. However, he can only keep “Father Time” at bay for so long; wide receivers Drew Bennett (Titans) and Dante’ Hall (Chiefs) acquired in the offseason, it looks as though the team is preparing for this to happen. They also acquired tight end Randy McMichael in the offseason, and he is another target that should take receptions away from Bruce. While he still sits at second on the depth chart, he could fall off that peak during this season, especially if Bennett or Hall can live up to their potential.
